BACP Accredited Counsellor and UKRCP Independent Registered Counsellor/Psychotherapist, Registered Social Worker (GSCC). Member of FHCP and BABCP.
Experience
Over 20 years’ counselling and social work experience in the UK and France in a variety of settings with adults and children, including NHS, Social Services, Education, the Voluntary Sector, and Private Practice. From 1986 I worked for many years as a Counsellor/Social Worker in the Family Welfare Association in London.
Current practice
In addition to my private practice in South Manchester, I am a Practice Counsellor for The Gaddum Centre in two GP Health Centres in Manchester. I am an Associate Member of MCCBT (Manchester Centre for Cognitive Behaviour Therapy).

As a Member of BACP I am bound by its Code of Ethics and Practice and subject to its Complaints Procedure. I am committed to continuous professional development and regular consultative supervision. The way I work
I am trained in Psychodynamic Counselling, the Person Centred Approach, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. My referrals come from self-referrals, from homoeopaths, complementary therapists, NHS, corporate health care, insurance companies, employee counselling schemes and other agencies.
As a Person Centred Counsellor I am committed to offering my clients acceptance, congruence and empathy, seeking to facilitate a holistic approach, self-actualisation, inclusiveness, diversity.
